Meet The Directors
Jamie Baier - President
Jamie has a background in counseling and has been working with high school and middle school students as a school counselor. She graduated with her masters degree in school schooling in 2017 from St. Cloud State University which is located in Minnesota. After graduating Jamie moved down to Arizona where she began her career as a counselor. Jamie has been a licensed counselor since 2017.
Jamie has a passion for helping individuals who have been through traumatic events in their lives. She knows firsthand the effects trauma can have on someone if left untreated. She believes everyone is deserving of leading happy and healthy lives, and with a little support and guidance that is possible for everyone. Going through counseling myself I had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and my goal in life is to give that feeling to as many people as possible.
Jamie got involved with the MotherTree Foundation because she believes in the healing power trauma work can have on people. The MotherTree's core foundation of helping trauma survivors directly coincides with Jamie's core beliefs of wanting to help anyone who has been through a traumatic event. The MotherTree Foundation is providing visionary services for trauma survivors and Jamie wholeheartedly stands behind what the MotherTree represents. We are here to help the whole individual thrive in life.

Kathryn Olsen - Secretary
As a Director of Human Resources with over 10 years in the HR field, my passion comes from helping people grow, and finding effective ways for companies and employees to align their values to build an innovative and respectful culture. My deep empathy and compassion for helping people is what drew me to Natalie Onacki and The MotherTree Foundation. Our goal is to help people be their best self by affronting their trauma and dealing with trauma through safe practices to assist them in living their best life. Personally, as someone who has seed loved ones succumb to addiction, I understand the importance of healing and processing trauma. My experiences with these individuals has shown me the importance of a safe space for those experiencing trauma to turn to. My hope is that The MotherTree Foundation will be an affordable, safe and comfortable place for those who are facing any type of trauma or addiction issues are able to flock to and rely on.
As a Director on the Board, I plan to bring my expertise and experience from HR, but also through my MBA program which I completed at the University of San Diego in 2021. These skills and knowledge have allowed me to grow personally and professionally and I look forward to contributing to The MotherTree Foundation’s growth.
On the personal side, I was born and raised in San Diego County, CA. I believe in an active lifestyle and find solace in a mix of family and Personal time, and ongoing adventures. My love of music and running keeps me vibrant and my family and loving relationships with my boyfriend and close friends keep me grounded! My love if adventures is best shown through my primary bucket list item, which is to travel to a new country every year!
